Lesh’s death was announced on his Instagram account. Lesh was the oldest and one of the longest.

Lesh performed with the Grateful Dead throughout its original tenure from 1966 to 1995, and was responsible for writing some of the band’s most iconic tracks, including Truckin’, Box of Rain and Unbroken Chain.
Sugarland is an American country music duo founded in Atlanta, Georgia. The duo consists of singer-songwriters Jennifer Nettles (lead vocals) and Kristian Bush (vocals, guitar, mandolin). They were founded in 2002, at which point Kristen Hall (vocals, guitar) was also a member.
Nettles is the lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush, and prior to this she fronted the Atlanta -based bands Soul Miner's Daughter and Jennifer Nettles Band.
