- Summer Rising - New York City Public Schools
NYC Public Schools and DYCD are committed to ensuring students have a safe way to and from Summer Rising. This summer, eligible students will receive busing daily from July 2 through August 9, arriving at their program at approximately 8 AM and leaving their program by no later than 3PM.
Summer Rising is free and available to all NYC students in grades K-8. Students in Summer Rising will have access to both academic and enrichment programming over the course of the day, including field trips, arts activities, and outdoor recreation. Visit the DOE webpage for more information.
Use this lookup table to determine where your child's home school will be operating this summer, as not all buildings are open for summer programming. You can search by DBN. Your home school may be listed more than once if there are multiple CBO programs in the building.
Summer Rising is a free, safe, and fun academic and enrichment program for NYC students currently in grades K-8. It will offer academic and enrichment programs over the course of the day, including field trips, arts activities, and outdoor recreation. Students with disabilities and English language learners are welcome.
Summer Rising 2024 is a partnership between the Department of Education (DOE) and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). Summer Rising is free and available to all New York City students in grades K-8, pending seat availability.
