With more than 60 clubs across British Columbia, the BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) offers speed swimming, diving, water polo and artistic (synchronized) swimming. The association has grown from three clubs in 1958, to over 60 clubs today, with over 9000 athletes.
The Club provides programming for over 300 swimmers each day at 7 different locations throughout the Edmonton area. The Club has two programming streams - Junior Development and Performance - with 9 progression groups.
Most employment opportunities start at 18 years and older. However, there are some positions in child programming, such as summer day camps, where we accept applications from those 16 years and older. Volunteering at the YMCA starts at 12 years in youth leadership programs.
