I did a review of Sunset Jamaica Grande - for the money, I didn't think it was worth it - The food was decent - but the rooms were basic - we stayed in a Cabana room - I have had stayed in a much nicer room at rooms on the beach for 1/8 of the price.

Sunset JA Grande was steadily going downhill (IMO) but now the reviews seem very favorable. I don't know what to think. I love the location of this hotel but i do not want to be disappointed with lousy food, poor conditions.
We are booked to go there in april for ten days and am starting to get worried about all the recent bad reviews from guests who have just come back. They speak of bad rooms, bad food, bars running out of everything including beer.
