Playing Superbowl on my Xbox One + 4k TV. Using youtube TV. For the first half I couldn't understand why it looked so blurry / distorted. I decided to go with MSFT Edge to the CBS site and stream directly to the xbox one. This is like 10x clearer than the youtube TV app.
It's not a camera issue, it's an issue of the production pipeline, switching, instant replay, etc. I wish that they would give up some of the insane number of cameras and and excess production value for a high quality 4k picture, but they don't want to do that.
I switched from DirecTV last month to YouTube TV and the picture quality is so bad. It’s heavily compressed. I have two LG OLED tv, one has the Apple 4K TV and the other one is attached to the Nvidia Shield Pro and both devices the picture quality is terrible when watching sports.
17 Μαΐ 2023 · Check the YouTube TV video quality settings when watching content and try to reduce the quality. The higher quality of content you stream, the more likely it is that slow playback will occur. Try to decrease the video quality, especially if the quality is set to 4K.
