13 Ιουλ 2005 · Your bike will be more stable at high speed with incresed trail. I use offset trees to achieve correct trail on frames with 40 or more degrees of rake in the neck. Without offset trees on a bike with that much rake in the neck, it's really floppy and heavy (like the choppers of the 70's).
24 Ιαν 2001 · As trail is REDUCED, instability results, producing a naturaltendency towards deflection or speed wobble. As trail is INCREASED, so does the ability of a motorcycle toresist wobble and follow a straight line.
Triple Trees listed here fit H-D Dyna, Softail Rocker and Breakout models from 2006-2017. HHI 49mm triple trees are available in 3, 5 and 6 degree rake. The 3 degree rake works best with a 21" size wheel. 5 degree trees are only recommended when installing a 23” wheel and the 6 deg rake is for a 26” wheel.
39mm triple trees come equipped with external fork stops for stock Dyna and are machined ( predrilled ) to accept a variety of optional internal fork stop kits. To change from a stock narrow glide to mid or wide glide you'll need triple trees and a triple tree conversion kit.
