Free-to-play players will need to unlock Chiss before they create a Chiss character. Subscribers can automatically create a Bounty Hunter or Imperial Agent as a Chiss while they are subscribed. Once the character is created, they do not need to remain subscribed to continue playing the created character.
So, any Force Adept Chiss who wants to develop their talent has to self-exile and join either the Jedi or Sith. This taboo against the Force can even be used to explain Chiss Non-Force PC's. After all, Non-Force toons have access to Force abilities through Heroic Moment.
There's a Chiss Jedi you meet in the game, as well as another force sensitive Chiss. During a Chiss-centric FP, if you are a Force using Chiss they'll tell you that the Chiss see Force sensitivity as an impurity, while also having you fight Force using Chiss. So...all on field lol.
You'd have to come up with a good explanation as to how did this jedi master managed to sneak into the chiss homeworld, considering they're isolationists and won't even let sith in there without their approval. Plus, being allies of the Empire, they're at war with the Republic and the Jedi.
Chiss. Chiss are known to be cunning warriors and capable military leaders. Chiss are also known to be highly educated, and many of them use their skills to gather intelligence on their enemies in an expedient and quiet manner.
