Music of the Syrian Civil War? I think we should create a playlist with all of our favorite songs from the war. I propose 4 categories, pro-Assad (including Hezbollah Music), Anti-Assad (IF, FSA, nusra, etc.), Islamic State and Kurdish Music (YPG, etc.).
A lot of Hezbollah songs were repurposed for the Syrian Army. These songs would be cut to remove mentions of Lebanon and Israel. Most of them are by Ali al Attar or Al Wilaya group. However you choose to view things, the overview in this video is a far more accurate synopsis of the conflict, not to mention a far broader view than merely a "civil war in Syria".
