This IME is available in the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan language options described on the previous page. It offers modern Traditional characters including the Hong Kong set, and supports the Taiwan Big5 or International Unicode encoding standards.

31 Οκτ 2019 · I installed the Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) language pack and downloaded all Traditional Chinese IME required. Next, I've tried so many times to change the preferred keyboard layout to Hanyu Pinyin, but it didn't work at all (still showing bopomofo when I type).
According to the previous (non-)"solution", the way to currently enable PinYin for proper traditional Chinese (Taiwan) is this: Add the IME for "Simplified Chinese" and then set options to "Traditional Chinese".
1 Αυγ 2015 · Replied on August 1, 2015. Report abuse. Hello, Welcome to Microsoft Community. In order to resolve this issue follow these steps: In the Cortana box type ‘Region’. Click on ‘Region and Language Settings’. Click on ‘Add a Language’. From the list of languages select Chinese Simplified.
The default keyboard for PRC and Singapore is Microsoft Pinyin. The default keyboard for Taiwan is Microsoft Bopomofo, but for Hong Kong it's Microsoft Quick (a quicker Cangjie). Click "Add a keyboard" to select another from the menu.
