This page helps you with how to use Microsoft Traditional Chinese IME including IME features and keyboard shortcuts.
It offers modern Traditional characters including the Hong Kong set, and supports the Taiwan Big5 or International Unicode encoding standards. It offers the ability to enter Pinyin with or without tone numbers and phrase association, and includes tools like the IME Pad for lookup by radical and stroke count.

The default keyboard for PRC and Singapore is Microsoft Pinyin. The default keyboard for Taiwan is Microsoft Bopomofo, but for Hong Kong it's Microsoft Quick (a quicker Cangjie). Click "Add a keyboard" to select another from the menu.
31 Οκτ 2019 · I installed the Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) language pack and downloaded all Traditional Chinese IME required. Next, I've tried so many times to change the preferred keyboard layout to Hanyu Pinyin, but it didn't work at all (still showing bopomofo when I type).
16 Ιαν 2021 · Bopomofo? Why do we refer to Taiwanese Zhuyin input as ‘Bopomofo’? Does the word ‘ qwerty ‘ mean anything to you? Yes, that’s right. Just like how we refer to a ‘qwerty’ keyboard (or qwertz if you’re German), the name bopomofo comes from the first 4 characters on the Taiwanese keyboard of Zhuyin input; bo po mo fo (ㄅㄆㄇㄈ).
I use Sogou. It's by far the most used Pinyin software in China (~87%), and there're so many features (I really like the screen reader/translator), and you can add "word packs" for specific stuff so it shows more often. Also, my Shiba theme is fucking adorable :)
