You can update the firmware of the lens to the latest version by yourself. * Please note that lens firmware cannot be updated via the camera or the smartphone. All firmware updates, for lenses that have a Connector Port, are available via the PC version of the TAMRON Lens Utility only.
This Firmware Update is for Recent Tamron lenses which are compatible with the Proprietary TAMRON Lens Utility software app.
TAMRON Lens Utility™ is dedicated software designed to enhance the functionality of TAMRON lenses equipped with a Connector Port (USB Type-C). It allows users to customize lens functions and update firmware using a computer or smartphone.
