Absolutely not, avoid it like the plague. Most (if not all) of the recipes are completely fake and don’t work in real life. They have completely shut down many an aspiring baker and chef who quit after repeatedly trying and failing the “recipes” on the YouTube channel
The app has a really useful search feature where you can filter by lots of criteria like “under 30 minutes”, cuisine by country, and by allergies/diet restrictions. I’ve made a fair deal of recipes from Tasty and they all have definitely been tasty.
I make sure that if I do follow a tasty recipe, that it’s from their official app, with a full recipe, and I check the tips section where other people can say how they found it and if they changed anything. So far the brownie recipe and some Cookie recipes have worked really well for me!
I use AllRecipies if I want very basic recipes. You won’t typically get Epicurious or Bon Appetite style recipes. I use Yummly (app) for a lot. It has user rating, number of users, and then links to the site/blog with more user reviews. You can find high quality recipes and simple recipes.
