With two compartments, this little caddy can hold up to 12 of your favorite tea bags. Or you can even tuck in a few of your favorite sweeteners. This way, you never have to worry about leaving home without your favorite sipper.
Lay your tea bags out 3 on either side of the fold long ways to measure where your other folds need to be. You will want to space your bags just enough for your thread to go down. You want it to be snug so your tea bags don't fall out during transit.
Cut out 2 rectangles of fabric from both fabrics measuring 7.5” x 5” plus 4 rectangles of the same size from your interfacing. Attach the interfacing to the back of each rectangle following the manufacturer’s instructions (or we have a guide to using fusible interfacing here).

My friend can pop into her handbag, filled with her favourite tea bags to. use when she's out and about.
STEP 1 – Cutting out. Picture above shows the pieces required to make one half of the tea bag holder, i.e. 1 coaster: Front piece (blue with daisy pattern), Inside piece (yellow), Inside pocket (yellow, which will be folded in half), Piece for the top of the cup (white).
