13 Αυγ 2021 · The MK7 was pretty much spot on, all the low frequencies coming over tight and unexaggerated, with crisp high frequencies and no obvious distortions. For stereo imaging and overall frequency placement, the Harold Land Quintet on Chess Cadet records was my choice for reference.

21 Μαρ 2021 · The result is a $1000 turntable (technically, $999.99) that performs, in some important ways, like one that's priced two or even three times more. Treat it like an audiophile deck rather than a DJ spinner, and it'll reward you accordingly.
1 Σεπ 2019 · Very contrary to the dire warnings we hear on AK that all SL-1200s have been trashed by DJs and need extensive work to get them serviceable. I'd do an AK Google search and you should come up with a number of excellent cartridge recommendations that have stood the test of time being used on the SL-1200.
