+1 - This video makes them look very bad: The GR seems to be the way to go if you need new Technics, but they are stupid expensive. Better off buying old and having them refinished if you need them super minty.
18 Ιουλ 2019 · Is there an embargo on reviews for the Mk7? It’s been out for a few weeks and I can’t find any authoritative comment, only unboxing videos or quick reviews when it came out in January. Weird
13 Αυγ 2021 · The new Technics SL-1200MK7 ticks a lot of boxes. Some of the earlier points I made about the weight and thick body could be a problem when it comes to being used out in the clubs and fields, but that’s a test for a live sound engineer. My experience, I’d have to say, is positive. I would buy one.

18 Ιουλ 2019 · As an owner of both the VL12 and the Technics 1200 MK7 I find his glowing review of the Denon, which has well documented problems of dead zones on the pitch fader, a bad tonearm known for loose bearings, speed control issues, and platter wobble, a bit odd.
25 Οκτ 2021 · The SL-1200 series has always been considered bombproof, another reason it’s favoured by DJs. We haven’t been able to physically compare the MK7 with previous models, and it would be unfair to describe this as flimsy, but first impressions are it feels as lightweight as the vital stats suggest.
