17 Νοε 2015 · SL-1200 serial numbers are in two different formats, depending on the date of manufacture. It isn't exactly possible to determine the decade in which the SL-1200 in question was manufactured, as the serial number contains only the last digit of the year.
2 Σεπ 2010 · I recently purchased an SL-1200MK2 from a local seller. The turntable is in like-new condition and works great. However the serial number is in a format that I haven't seen elsewhere. Starts with 'CG', followed by four non-zero digits (which look like a 2-digit year plus 2-digit month), then an 'F' (June?), and finally three more digits.
