Debate Teams. Young people need spaces to speak passionately and persuasively about important issues, formulating opinions supported by logic and strong evidence. Having confidence, knowledge of issues, and the ability to speak on the spot helps ensure that young voices aren’t silenced.
Our in-person and online debate clubs, geared toward students aged 10-17, operate just like a high school or college debate team, with regular meetings and opportunities to compete in tournaments. Joining a club is a great opportunity for students to build their debate skills and learn about current issues, all while making new friends!
The Debate Spaces Academy is an online, interactive program that takes from September through May. Each session is two hours starting at 9:30am US Eastern Time. Students learn from world-renowned debaters, make friends from 40+ countries, and have fun in this life-changing program.
