The EMR National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of 16 hours of continuing education to recertify. The model requires continuing education in three components: (1) a national component, (2) a local/state component, and (3) an individual component.
Texas EMS Conference is an approved CE provider (DSHS Program Approval Number: 600818) through the Texas Department of State Health Services. The National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) accepts for recertification purposes continuing education hours approved by state offices, such as DSHS.
