Our program helps people with disabilities get ready for, find, or keep a job. We help adults with disabilities of all ages. We also help young students with disabilities prepare for life after school. The program also assists businesses in hiring and supporting employees with disabilities.

1 ημέρα πριν · The Rehabilitation Council of Texas (Council) is federally mandated by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended in 1992, and advises the Texas Workforce Commission on the policy, scope and effectiveness of vocational rehabilitation services.
Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services are designed to help individuals address employment barriers related to a disability, and supports eligible individuals as they prepare for, obtain, retain or advance in employment.
TWS–VRS helps eligible Texans with disabilities prepare for, obtain, retain or advance in competitive integrated employment, which is employment in jobs with work settings, wages, benefits and advancement opportunities equivalent to similar jobs held by people without disabilities.
DARS provides services that help Texans with disabilities find jobs through vocational rehabilitation, ensures that Texans with disabilities live independently in their communities and helps children with disabilities and developmental delays reach their full potential. Employees: 3,200.
11 Ιουλ 2016 · The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is eagerly preparing to welcome vocational rehabilitation programs operated by the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) to the Workforce Solutions family this September. These programs directly help people with disabilities in Texas.
