Our program helps people with disabilities get ready for, find, or keep a job. We help adults with disabilities of all ages. We also help young students with disabilities prepare for life after school. The program also assists businesses in hiring and supporting employees with disabilities.
You may be eligible for vocational rehabilitation services if you: Have a disability which results in barriers to employment. Need services to discover and prepare for employment. If our services can help you get, keep, or advance in employment, you may be eligible.
TWS–VRS helps eligible Texans with disabilities prepare for, obtain, retain or advance in competitive integrated employment, which is employment in jobs with work settings, wages, benefits and advancement opportunities equivalent to similar jobs held by people without disabilities.
Formally Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services DARS. The Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWS-VRS) can help people with physical or mental disabilities prepare for, find, or keep a job.
13 Αυγ 2020 · The Texas Commission for Rehabilitation was established as a separate state agency in 1969 and was soon renamed the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. In addition to vocational training, the commission provided counseling, financial assistance, and job placement.

Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Services works with eligible individuals with any disability, whether visible or not.
