The 2019 campaign is the 20th as head coach of the Texas State baseball program for Ty Harrington. The winningest coach in school history has led the Bobcats since 2000, and he entered the season with a 621-496-2 all-time record.
Ty Harrington (University of Texas at Austin '89) began his tenure as Texas State baseball's fourth head coach in the 2000 season and compiled an overall record of 657-516-2 over 20 seasons. His overall record includes a 265-146 record in the Southland Conference and a 95-85 record in the Sun Belt Conference. [ 2 ]
Steven Trout enters his first season as the head coach of Texas State after being named to the position on July 1, 2019. Overall, he is in his seventh season with the Bobcats after serving as associate head coach (2018-19), assistant coach (2016-17) and volunteer assistant (2009-10).
