For a while I was obsessed with the real-life parasite this movie is inspired by. I would bring it up constantly, it’s just so fascinating to me. Finding this movie after the fact was very satisfying!
If possible, avoid all information about it, so you can go in blindly. I think you'll have the best experience that way. All I will say about it to you is that it is a Found Footage film, so if you're a fan of the genre it's a must see, but if you don't like that genre then I'd probably avoid it.
