The history of communication is a long and complicated one, which is almost as old as humans have existed, so having a helpful timeline to show how we've evolved from cave paintings to social media is sure to make understanding this fascinating history much easier for your pupils!
Knowing this, we’ll examine the pertinent questions, topics, and scholars of the Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, and Enlightenment periods to find out what they learned about communication to help them understand the world around them. Next, we will highlight the rapid growth of contemporary communication.
