Download the 4GB patch tool here. Once downloaded, put it in a file folder for later use (it can be used for other games). Run the exe. Search for your sims file inside the “Mansion and Garden” folder. You should now be able to play The Sims 2.

I have the Sims 2 super collection from the mac store on my laptop (purchased in 2014). I’ve never had an actual disc (well, I did many moons ago when I was a kid with a PC…). I want to download custom content but I’m struggling to figure out how to make it work.

17 Αυγ 2021 · Firstly, you’ll need to locate The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection in your Origin Game Library. Once you have found it, click on the game box art and then hit download. You’ll then be presented with a series of pop-up boxes.
How to play on Windows. Download and Extract The_Sims_2_Win_ISO_EN.zip. Mount The Sims 2.iso – if you don’t know how to mount files, refer to this article: https://oldgamesdownload.com/wiki/install-games-on-windows/. Open the mounted file and run “setup.exe”.
I installed TS2 using the web installer last week, and it works a treat. Thank you O-sab :) To clarify, you can choose between the standalone installer (where you do all the work yourself), or the web installer which guides you through the setup.
