Go straight to documents instead, not via Users. The path is Documents>EA Games>The Sims 2. If you don't see a Downloads folder at this level, you can make one. When you go into your game, go to Game Options and check On under Display Custom Content Dialog at Startup.
28 Ιουλ 2014 · Basically, I have no room on my C: Drive, so I've had to install the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection onto my D: Drive. I want to put mods into the game, like for hair/skins/objects but there isn't a place to put a Downloads folder like with the original disk installations.
22 Φεβ 2012 · Sometimes the Sims 2 installation doesn't create a Downloads folder. Thankfully this is easily fixed, just follow those simple steps: Go to My Documents (Documents on Vista / Windows 7) on your computer (either through the Start menu or directly from the Desktop).
Click on File -> New -> Folder in the folder menu (or right click inside the folder). The folder should be highlighted by default, so lets name it Downloads (just type it in). If the folder isn't highlighted, click on it to select the folder, then click File -> Rename and type in Downloads.
31 Ιουλ 2014 · You can move the Downloads folder to your Desktop if you have already added CC/Mods. Make sure before you start up the game after doing this that you have downloaded and used Graphics Rule Maker to add your video card data to the Graphics Rule.sgr file so the game will recognize your video card.

This is actually a very commonly asked question, and yet it has the simplest of answers: create the folder. Click the Start Menu and My Documents, which is in the top right.
9 Αυγ 2007 · The location of the "Downloads" folder is Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\ For the package files. Just copy / drop the downloaded package files in the Downloads folder. If Nightlife or later expansion is installed, you may organize your downloads in sub-folders within the main Downloads folder. For the Sims2pack files
