I missed this during regular add-ons and now I'm thinking about it again in second chance. I have combination skin that leans more oily and I also try to avoid silicone. It's very easy for a moisturizer to be too heavy for me. Any thoughts on this one before I check out?

It definitely is more of a serum. I actually almost wrote that instead of 'gel cream' I get very dry cheeks and nose, but then through the day my t-zone gets progressively more oily, and I found it does not particularly help with that area without a bit of extra help from other moisturizers.
