Yellowing on plant leaves can be caused by lots of things from underfeeding to overwateirng. However, here you can see three immature thrips which are the likely cause. The insects can also weaken plants and create areas for plant viruses to invade.
14 Φεβ 2021 · They’re very tiny, black insects that suck the juices out of the leaves, causing unwanted damage to your plants. Thrips can multiply very quickly and they can fly, which makes getting rid of them that little bit harder.
Heavily infested plants will show yellow and brown, almost stippled patches in an irregular pattern, and new growth can look stunted, contorted, or deformed. You may also see sooty black spots along leaves or stems. This is thrips fecal matter, which can also be a vector for disease.
Check for mottled or silvery streaked foliage, dusty black droppings, or distorted young leaves or flowers. Thrips damage is more likely in hot, dry conditions. You can stave off an infestation by keeping your plant healthy.
Black Scraps and Silver Threads: thrips on houseplants produce a dark, sticky material known as frass, which builds up on plant leaves to produce black dots or streaks. If infestations continue, your plants may start to show tiny silver threads.

6 Σεπ 2021 · Adult thrips have two pairs of wings and are brownish-yellow or black-brown in colour. Both adults and the immature thrips, known as nymphs, feed on the upper surface of leaves and on flowers. Thrips are hard to see with the naked eye and may need identifying with a magnifying glass.
