   When I try to connect to a remote computer that is using changeip dyndns (managed and updated by an SFR box), - if I use the changeip.net subdomain (xxx.changeip.net), I always get "Connection has been gracefully closed" after a few seconds time-out, before the login form apears.

   1 Ιαν 2020 · Steps to reproduce the behavior: Disable firewall on VNC server. I try to connect to the VNC server using tigerVNC viewer. After I click connect, the viewer just closes. If I try to connect with tightvnc the same happens but I get the message "Connection has been gracefully closed". Expected behavior.

The error reads "Error in tightVNC viewer: the connection parameters (host, port, socket, gates) is empty". Opening the VNC file in a text editor shows the parameters are set correctly.

   I am trying to add TightVNC control to some systems, using Windows's built in OpenSSH distribution to tunnel through localhost (default VNC port 5900). I am able to connect over pure VNC just fine.

   13 Νοε 2016 · Unable to remotely connect using TightVNC, "Error: Connection Has Been Gracefully Closed". I've made sure TightVNC service is running on home machine (of course), enabled password authentication, made sure that remote connections have been allowed.
