Included are the recent developments and progress in multidisciplinary application of these plasmonic photocatalysts.
22 Οκτ 2024 · This report demonstrates the development of carbon fibers (CFs) decorated with TiO 2 nanoparticles (NPs) as an efficient photocatalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) as a model dye. Carbon fibers were produced by carbonization of polyacrylonitrile fibers, previously produced by centrifugal spinning.
27 Απρ 2020 · Synthesis of carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) and their composite with TiO 2 have been proposed for the first time by carbonization and acid digestion of coconut husk fibers through the sol–gel method comparatively at low temperature. XRD patterns show the anatase structure of the TiO 2 –carbon nanocomposite.

Nanofibers were produced from electro-spun polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) based nanofibers with titanium (IV) isopropoxide (TTIP) as a precursor.
