23 Μαρ 2021 · Under the light of current knowledge, this chapter provides an overview of TiO 2-NPs, their interactions, i.e., uptake, translocation and accumulation with plants, feedback of plants at different levels (viz. morphological, physiological, biochemical and molecular) with an overview on intrinsic mechanism of TiO 2-NPs detoxification within plants.
25 Ιουν 2021 · TiO 2 NPs are used in nano fertilisers and nano pesticides to enhance the soil fertility and the growth of crops by increasing the light retention and diffusion in the crops. They also regulate the delivery of pesticides and fertilisers in the soil and reduce the damage to crops (Dubey & Mailapalli, 2016).
11 Απρ 2023 · At 75 µmol m −2 s −1 PPFD during cultivation, the high TiO2 nanoparticle level (100 μmol L−1) tended to sustain higher ΦPSII values. As measurement light intensity increased, rETR also ...
This review includes a discussion of the current knowledge about factors affecting the interaction of nano-TiO 2 with soil and plants. We also discuss the role of particle size, crystal phase, surface coating, and techniques employed to study the interaction of these nanoparticles with plants.
14 Δεκ 2023 · Exposure to TiO 2 NPs significantly (P < 0.01) increased shoot dry weight (37.8%) and the number of lateral branches (59.4%) and decreased Cd uptake in plant tissues as compared to the control....
TiO 2 NPs generally are absorbed by plants by means of root and transported to scion. They have the propensity to enrich the plant nutrition uptake by increasing the root hairs and ultimately plant growth.
6 Αυγ 2021 · Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 NPs) display an array of effects from negative, to neutral and positive when applied on plants. Importantly, when the right concentrations are selected, these nanoparticles have positive effects on seed germination, the vigor of young and mature plants and can also increase crop yield and nutritional value.
