12 Ιουλ 2019 · The TK-4 is a 2-inch wide, woven elastic band tourniquet that features two steel hooks anchored on the ends. While it compacts down to a small size, the TK-4 is challenging to put on while under stress and consistently apply enough pressure to manage a bleed.
With one steel hook fastened steadfast (three thick hog rings per S-Hook) to both ends of the elastic band, and packaged in a small, vacuum-sealed pouch, TK-4 is ideal for applying direct pressure over a wound or for creating pressure on an extremity to reduce blood loss.
The H and H TK-4 (Tourni-Kwik 4) is the one-handed tourniquet made to stop arterial bleeding quickly and efficiently from combat or accidental amputations. TK4 features a strong elastic latex band with two steel s-hooks.
