10 Απρ 2017 · The happy winners are IMDB, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic. For the last two, I have focused only on their iconic rating types — namely the tomatometer, and the metascore — mainly because these are more visible to the user on each of the websites (meaning it’s quicker to find them).
Tmdb are specific people choosing to rate instead of IMDb. Typically people using Kodi/Plex etc, but also some that just don't want to use IMDb. So ratings will differ because if the type of people seeking out tmdb to do ratings.
2 Ιουλ 2022 · Over the years, I’ve developed an algorithm to help me decide which film to watch. For thrillers, I pick them only if they have a rating of above 6 on IMDb AND a rating of above 45% on Rotten Tomatoes. For dramas, I pick them only if they have a rating of above 6.5 on IMDb AND a rating of above 50% on Rotten Tomatoes.
19 Σεπ 2017 · As of this writing, mother! is at 68% on Rotten Tomatoes, 75 on Metacritic, 6.8/10 on IMDB, and an abysmal F CinemaScore. The movie is obviously (mostly) well received by critics and some audiences, but its extreme and unnerving style was very disruptive and troubling to many audience members.
So I tried IMDB and TMDB, and decided to compare the result of the 27 best rated movies in my library: - 17 movies are presents for the 2 services - 6 animated movies for TMDB, 1 for IMDB - 5 no-US, no-Animated movies for TMDB, 3 for IMDB
Rotten Tomatoes vs IMDB Ratings. Question. Whose ratings do you trust more or tend to be more aligned with once you see the movie? I've always been an IMDB-trusting person, but that's really because it was the first movie focused website I used. Still, I find that sometimes the ratings just seem off.
