Now enable "Create files in mod instead of overwrite" and choose "Oblivion XP Update" in the dropdown. 3. Start Wrye Bash through MO2.
Use the community nexus mod manager, to install the mods, then run wyre bash to sort the conflicts if any, then run Bain. When all that is done use the obse launcher instead as I am sure you did install that to get some mods to work any way.

I see most mods say to install by placing the files into the game's Data folder, but as far as I can tell MO2 is doing its own thing. Mod manager download. Most mods are really old that predate MO2 and it's inbuilt method of downloading that Nexus integrated for Vortex and MO2.
