Topology rules define the permissible spatial relationships between features. The rules you define for a topology control the relationships between features within a feature class, between features in different feature classes, or between subtypes of features.
1 Ιαν 2017 · Definition. Topological relations between spatial objects have been widely recognized, implemented, and used in GIS. They provide a notion of the general structure and the interactions of spatial objects. Topology avoids dealing with geometry by introducing topological primitives, namely, boundary, interior, and exterior.
1 Απρ 2022 · Topology optimization finds a preliminary structural configuration that meets a predefined criterion on the basis of finite element analysis (FEA) and occasionally gives a design that can be completely new and innovative.
from mathematical topology through philosophy to architecture emphasizing the computational shift in architectural design, while the second part of the work will explain the modalities through which the principles are applied in several architectural design practices.
24 Ιουν 2022 · More significantly, topology optimization is a performance-based design tool that aims to find the most-efficient structural form, meaning the generated configuration corresponds to an optimized material layout under a set of defined conditions and a given volume.
3 ημέρες πριν · Topology expresses the spatial relationships between connecting or adjacent vector features (points, polylines and polygons) in a GIS. Topological or topology-based data are useful for detecting and correcting digitising errors (e.g. two lines in a roads vector layer that do not meet perfectly at an intersection).
16 Απρ 2014 · The theoretical principles of combining spatial-qualitative and temporal-quantitative data within the context of relation can be well represented here using geographic situation as the means of visualization.
