The sandy beach swimming area is patrolled by certified lifeguards and is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Memorial Day Weekend (weather permitting) through Labor Day. A snack bar, changing rooms and rest rooms are available for the public.

To obtain a Town of Hamburg Resident Parking Permit or Boat Launch Permit, you can do so at the Town of Hamburg Fitness Center window located at the top of The Hamburg Town park Beach, 11 am - 7 pm.
The Hamburg Town Park & Beach is located on a sloping shore of eastern Lake Erie, just west of the hamlet of Athol Springs. The park centers around a large white building overlooking its golden sandy beach.
