14 Νοε 2004 · Step Eleven: Replace seal with new one. Place new rubber seal in grove using some engine oil to hold the seal in place. Step Twelve: Place oil pump cover back in place without moving seal out of its grove. Use new Philips bolts from Toyota to replace the old ones.

12 Αυγ 2015 · Replace all the oil pump bolts to their original position. Replace the idler. Install the new timing belt, be sure to line up the marks correctly, and then replace the belt guide. Replace the crankshaft pulley and make sure to tighten it to specs, which is approximately twice the toque of your wheel's lugs.
Toyota RAV4 (XA40) 2013-2018 Service Manual: Oil pump. Remove the chain (see page em-22). Remove the 3 bolts, oil pump and gasket. Remove the 2 nuts, oil pump strainer and gasket. Using a 27 mm socket wrench, remove the plug. Remove the valve spring and relief valve. Remove the 5 bolts and oil pump cover.
31 Αυγ 2008 · If you are planning to change the oil pump seal, buy a new gasket from Toyota for $19. I would highly recommend a new o-ring gasket as it is unlikely, you will be able to re-use yours. I carefully peeled off the o-ring gasket, leaving no residue.
Remove any oil from contact surface. Apply seal packing to the inner side of the bolt holes. Install the oil pump within 3 minutes after applying seal packing. Do not expose the seal to engine oil for at least 2 hours after installing the oil pump.
