15 Μαΐ 2012 · I know the purpose of "trailer sway damping" is to...well...simply...diminish trailer sway! But how do they achieve it as part of the tow package? What exactly is included in their tow package that makes it possible?
6 Φεβ 2010 · Trailer sway dampening applies individual brakes on the Jeep should the trailer and Jeep start to sway. It is an effort to stop the swaying. You can ad a hitch to any JK, but the tow capacity will be different, depending on the configuration; 2dr or 4dr, axle ratio.
9 Νοε 2021 · So I grabbed the VIN and pulled up the build sheet after reading some other posts on here as to what technically is included with a factory tow package, and the build sheet lists (in part): 180 amp alternator, standard duty engine cooling, normal duty suspension, trailer sway damping.

9 Απρ 2024 · My Jeep came with "Trailer Sway Damping" as standard equipment and I guess that's a sway bar. That's about it with respect to towing equipment. No hitch, no wiring harness, no oil cooler, etc.
22 Μαρ 2007 · I tow my Rockwood popup trailer to our off-road camping sites all the time. Trailer fully loaded comes in around 3,000lbs. Liberty tows it extremely well on flat lands and 4-wheel drive roads, but does lug down on the steeper grades. I always turn off the "OD" when towing.
