1 Αυγ 2019 · My 2021 Ram has Trailer Sway Damping. I will be towing a 14’ RV weighing 2300#. I’ve been losing my mind as to what I need. I have a sway control bar that I can hook up But is it needed?
18 Ιαν 2021 · Your truck is heavy and has some sway control built in but I strongly recommend you use a WDH with some anti sway capability. There are lots of good choices on the market but I would look at Fastway which makes 2 models that are reasonable and work well, the Equalizer and E2.
22 Νοε 2017 · Modern trailer sway control is part of stability control which applies the brake to individual wheels based on what it thinks is the best thing to do. It analyses yaw sensors, wheel speed, steering angle... maybe other sensors to determine the best course of action for the situation detected.

14 Σεπ 2024 · Any of the Ram trucks since 2013 with the OEM trailer brake controller have the trailer sway control. It's part of the vehicle stability control system. Reactions: J0ck0
7 Σεπ 2023 · Looks like it works with the rest of your stability control. If the truck senses trailer sway it will apply individual wheel brakes and cut engine power as necessary to compensate and re-stabilize.
3 Οκτ 2018 · So, the setup manual for my new WD Hitch with Sway Control (Andersen) states that the anti-sway features built-in to new trucks can actually work against the sway control of their hitch and make the trailer sway!
