The HCCN provides primary care to HIV-infected clients through a multicenter network of primary care services, focusing on underserved communities. The HCCN uses a multidisciplinary approach to HIV disease management and a graded system of client management.
First, we provide post-test counseling and HIV prevention services for patients who test negative for HIV in the Emergency Department at the University of Chicago. Many of these patients remain at risk for future HIV seroconversion.
