14 Φεβ 2017 · Bob, I installed a TKO 600 kit in my 69 behind my big block. I did it in my garage laying on my back. It was not fun, but it was doable. I got my kit from SST. I highly recommend them. Their kit comes with everything you need for a complete installation. The speedometer cable adapter accepts the original speedometer cable.
3 Αυγ 2006 · I purchased mine from Classic Chevy 5 speed in Southern California. The .76 OD ratio with a 3.73 rear end makes for a strong launch and a quiet ride on the freeway with 2200 RPM at 70 Mph (2000 at 65). Your wife will love it. You can actually talk while driving on the freeway.
