About 5 months ago, I got a letter in the mail from TRS recovery services informing me that they were trying to collect an unpaid debt. The claim was bogus—a check I'd allegedly used to buy groceries at a store I never go to (and I never pay with checks).
25 Φεβ 2021 · Edited to add: there appears to be two TRS Recovery Services. One located in Georgia which was established in 1989 and has standard debt collector complaints, and the second is located in Texas, established in 1992, and has an insane number of complaints calling the company a scam.
Looking through this sub-reddit, TRS recovery services has been a headache for at least 5 years on here. I'm here to add my voice to the complaints. On Saturday (01/29/2022) I received a electronic transfer "bounced check, account closed" notice from TRS for an Amazon Marketplace purchase.
They are listed as a debt collection agency but it is obvious they are directly connected to this TRS Limited. Most of the complaints I see posted online and with the BBB about National Medical Administrators are for scam dealings and fraudulent charges with TRS Limited.
