Body armor doesn't make you invincible, it protects your key organs when hit and wounded. Pre-v9, it used to take 1 to 2 shots to get an incap for armored personnel, now it takes 3-4 shots. I would like to see this reversed, and the level of body armor only affect the bleed out timer after incap.

The problem with body armor is that it isn't intuitive to most players which goes against the accessibility part of squad's goal. While I'd like to see it show up as a mod, I'm not sure it's going to work in the base game because most people wouldn't understand it. Most modern body armor will stop .308 dead in it's tracks, even 5.56 AP can't ...
27 Ιουλ 2020 · It's shows all vehicle armor and internal components fully in 3D; it's basically what I'd always wanted to see in regards to armor in Squad. You'll not find a better visual guide than that site, no exaggeration.
I'm working on cataloging all the "just for glamour" sets that are permanently in-game acquirable for the wiki. The page has progressed pretty far and I'm looking for some feedback on sources of gear that I'm missing and/or layout suggestions.
