Email Address. An inbox where you receive official UAA emails. Example: jadoe@alaska.edu. Email and Contacts. Everyone at UAA gets an email account where you will receive official communications from the University. Everyone can choose email nicknames (up to 3). Students can forward their UAA email to a personal email address.
The University of Alaska (UA) provides all students, staff, and faculty with an email account. The primary mail service is Google Workspace for Education. You can access your UA email through the UA Gmail portal. Get help with setting up email using our Email Knowledge Base articles.
14 Αυγ 2017 · Blackboard Learn is the LMS tool used by University of Alaska to host online course environments. All faculty who are officially assigned any course to teach at UA will find a blank course template created for you in your UA Learn account to populate and activate for student use during the semester. .
Creating Your University Account. Once you have submitted your application you will need to create your University of Alaska account. This account will follow you throughout your time here and is necessary in order to view your bill, register for classes, view transcripts and much more.

These include, but are not limited to email, wireless access, Learning Management System (LMS, aka Blackbaord Learn), Office 365 @ UA, Google Workspace @ UA, UAOnline, and Qualtrics.
