We offer a dynamic lineup of career events year-round featuring in-person and virtual formats. Ranging from premium career fairs and recruitment events, to educational workshops and panels, we provide students with hundreds of career events to attend throughout the year.
Career staff positions are recruited through the UCSB Human Resources Employment Office. To see the full job description and submit an application, click on the position link. All applications for staff positions must be submitted through the campus Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) system.
Librarian positions are academic appointments and require an ALA-accredited Masters degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS). When vacancies occur, they are posted on this page and advertised in publications such as Chronicle of Higher Education, American Library Association JobList, and Association of Research Libraries.

The UCSB Library provides part-time (less than 40 hours/week) employment to approximately 150 students. Only currently-enrolled UC students may apply for and occupy these positions, with priority consideration given to students enrolled at UCSB.
