  1. SONA IS OPEN FOR PARTICIPANTS. Sona is open for Fall 2024 participants from 4:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024, to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.   2. Study Sign-Up and Cancelling Appointments. Once you are logged in to the system, to find out what studies are available, go to the “Study Sign-Up” section. Studies may vary in their availability across the quarter.

  3. Then go back to the Participant Signup website/screen and login to the system with your user ID and the randomly generated password that was emailed to you. After you log in you will be taken to a screen where there are sections entitled “Study Sign-Up,” “My Schedule & Credits,” and “My Profile.”

    Sona is an online scheduling system used to record your research participation credit. You will go to the Sona website to find out what studies are being offered in a given quarter and use the site to sign up for studies.

  5. Once an account is deactivated, users will have no access to Sona; though the user is prevented from logging in, data is retained. Please refer to the email message you received for the next activation date for researchers.
