Copy your CSO/ISO file from UMDGen onto your PSP. Play the game and try it out. Get to a point where a cut scene or audio file is supposed to play, and if the game continues, it worked!
10 Φεβ 2015 · Go down to USB Device and select UMD Disc, exit the VHS menu then put the PSP in USB mode. You can open the ISO in UMD Gen on your PC, here you can delete any files not required to save space. I usually just delete the system update folder. Your ISO will compress to a CSO, basically a compressed ISO.
UMDGen is a Windows utility that is used to create and/or edit UMD compliant ISO image files. You can use it to replace, delete, add and apply PPF patches to the files. The ISO image files can then be played on some PSP systems.

This method can be used to mod the PlayStation 2 version of San Andreas with new textures. Be wary to follow the steps carefully since any branching-off can break things! I'm curious what all can be done to a freshly ripped clean iso image to get its file size down to its absolute smallest size while still working with PPSSPP. I know about cso conversion, but is that all that can be done to shrink the size?
