Founded in 2010, The Summer Teaching Fellowship (STF) is a paid teacher preparation program designed for current and rising college seniors (college juniors and seniors) who are committed to pursuing a career in urban education.
Uncommon NYC is comprised of 23 free public schools serving grades Pre-K to 12, including co-educational schools and a few single-sex schools. We proudly serve over 7,400 students and families in Brooklyn on the path to college and beyond.
