Fall 2024 Large Ensemble Auditions. We hope you are enjoying the summer and looking forward to the fall semester at the University of Tennessee! With this letter, we welcome you to the auditions for Bands and Orchestra, Fall 2024. Learning to audition is an important part of the educational process for every student.
Auditions are held for all students who wish to perform in a concert ensemble during the spring semester (Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and University Band). Descriptions for each ensemble are available on the respective ensemble webpage.
2025 Undergraduate Music Majors and Music Minors December 7 • January 18 • January 25. We will offer both in-person and virtual auditions for Fall 2025 admission.

The undergraduate admission audition for the UT Percussion Studies area / UT School of Music requires a solo performance audition as well as a short interview with the percussion area faculty.
