It served in North Africa and Italy in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations and France and Germany in the European Theater between 1942 and 1945.

15 Ιουν 2009 · From the bit of research I've done, it seems that "7 Steps to Hell" was the unofficial motto of the 7th. So far, I haven't been able to trace down when that part of the patch was incorporated. I have seen reproductions for sale with the motto as part of the patch.
4 Απρ 2015 · My great-uncle was in army during ww2. i have an bracelet with a plate on it with 7 steps to hell insignia,Germany ,1946. . i also have all of his papers. Durning the war he wed a Polish woman that was in a displaced persons camp. All that paper work is in my possession. The main question i have is about the bracelet.
