My 2 cents on that topic (which summarizes some of the comments here, too): If you have windows-only servers (the binary files), you are gonna have a hard time with linux hosts (go for VMs instead of wine to avoid headaches, *probably* saves you a lot of trouble, no experience, though)

  7. In this way, I can use the server to store and backup all non-system files for all my other servers and gaming/work computer in one central location, all accessible to each other. This way, I don’t have to email myself files or plug in flash drives to move files from computer to computer.
